The commodity is trading at $61.38 per barrel at 09:40 GMT this morning, 0.31% higher from the New York close. Crude oil witnessed a high of $61.48 per barrel and a low of $60.98 per barrel during the session. In the New York session yesterday, crude oil rose 2.09% to close at $61.19 per barrel. Yesterday, the API revealed that US stock inventories eased for the eighth consecutive week, declining by 3.2 million barrels in the last week. Immediate downside, the first support level is seen at $60.12 per barrel, while on the upside, the first resistance level is at $62.06 per barrel.
